Tin - Silver

*Lead free

This solder is designed to join joints that must withstand higher stresses than those made with tin-lead alloys, or in applications where a lead-free solution is required, such as in the food and beverage industry. It is an alloy composed nominally of 95% Tin and 5% Silver.

It is ideal for the installation of potable water systems, capillary soldering of copper pipes, as well as heating and cooling applications.

This product meets the quality standards established by ASTM B 32-04 and ICONTEC 2700.

-          95 – 5 Ag: Solid wire in 5/32” and 1/16”. Available in ½ lb and 1 lb reel.

Tin - Antimony

*Lead free

This solder is an alloy with a nominal composition of 95% Tin and 5% Antimony. It is primarily used in the installation of refrigeration and heating equipment, as well as copper piping systems, where joints may be exposed to temperatures of up to 180°C.

It is also ideal for applications requiring lead-free joints, such as food and beverage packaging, solar energy installations, and plumbing. This solder offers excellent mechanical strength and outstanding resistance to corrosion.

Manufactured in compliance with the standards established by ASTM B-32 and ICONTEC 2700, it is perfect for construction, plumbing, and automotive applications where strong, durable joints are required.

-          95– 5 Sb: Solid wire in 5/32” and 1/16”. Available in ½ lb and 1 lb reel.

Rosin paste - Flux

Fluxes are chemical compounds used to facilitate the soldering process by cleaning the surfaces to be joined. Their primary function is to enable proper bonding by dissolving and removing oxide layers present on both the solder and metal surfaces.

Additionally, fluxes protect clean surfaces by preventing reoxidation before the joint is completed, and they are efficiently displaced by the molten solder, leaving no solid residues or gas inclusions that could compromise the quality of the joint.

Our flux paste is formulated in accordance with the specifications set forth in the 9th edition of the Metal Handbook (section on Welding, Brazing, and Soldering). It is a grease-like flux made with petroleum jelly as a base and a chloride solution as the activator. Due to its corrosive nature, it requires post-application cleaning to ensure the durability and quality of the joint.
